That's A Wrap
I've been going to church-planting conferences for almost nine years. Nine years! One of the highlights about these conferences is catching up with friends in different parts of the country who are also church-planter's wives. Some have been at their churches for years, and some have now started churches in different cities. Either way, when we get together, we all understand each other and we are all thankful for each other's unique friendship.
Church planting is hard. This year the conference was about emotional health. The timing of this conference was great for us. We read this book before we attended, which I highly recommend for everyone.
In other news, Selah finished her first year of school and Sophia finished Pre-K! I can't believe how fast they are both growing.
When I asked Selah what she wants to be when she grows up, she started crying and said she never wants to grow up. (This was maybe the third time she's cried in her life.. so she must really think adulthood is terrible).
Selah is our social butterfly. It was so fun to see her thrive and interacting with new friends. She is such a joy to be around. We are praying she uses this to lead others around her to know the love of Jesus throughout her life.
Pre-k was a year of preserverance for Sophia. She is extremely smart, gifted and aware of her surroundings. She is going to make an amazing adult. We are believing God is going to use her in great ways.
Sophia wants to be a Rockstar when she grows up. This summer, I'm planning to have a few backyard concerts so she can begin pursuing her dream. 😊
How can each of us make someone's dream come true this summer?
